Wands and more...
Under the Spell of Magic
I craft my wands, runes and other items from the magical woods collected in and around the legendary Isle of Avalon...the present day town of Glastonbury, England.
Currently, I have a number of wands made of Birch, Rowan, Alder, Willow, Ash, Hawthorn, Oak, Holly, Hazel and Apple. I am also able to supply Blackthorn, Elder, Gorse, Broom and Yew.
Please contact me and I will be happy to send you more information on the wand and wood of your choice. Prices range from $20 to $40 depending on wood and if any wood burning design is requested. If you wish, on most of the wands, I am able to fit them with a simple quartz crystal.
Birch with crystal
The wands I craft are rather simple in design. Working with John Vickery of Wistman's Wands, I was taught to always allow the natural beauty of each of the specific types of woods to shine through. No heavy coats of polyurethane are to be found on my wands. Only natural organic waxes and oils. And if you are looking for wands with glitter, ribbons, hanging baubles or feathers from imaginary birds and beasts inserted inside the core of the wand, you are not on the correct website. These are not wands made for toys, rather working tools for the serious practitioner of the old ways.
Runes of the Elder Futhark
I offer sets of Runes of the Elder Futhark in just about any wood that is listed on the Ogham Tree Calendar. Price range from $20 to $40 dollars depending on the size and type of wood requested.

Charms of Rowan
Rowan-tree, and red thread
Put the warlocks to their speed"
- Old English charm
In the British Isles, there is a magical and very powerful charm made from two pieces of rowan wood. Tying two small twigs of Rowan together with red thread in the form of an equal-armed cross is an age old protective amulet.
This ancient little charm has been used for centuries for protection and good luck for both people and animals.
These beautiful rowan charms are designed to be placed above any opening in your home...above a door, a window or even above the hearth in your home.
A rowan charm may be hung above an infant's cradle for the protection against any mischievous faeries found in your home.
Place a cross of rowan above your beloved pet's bed for protection and good luck. In a barn, hang a rowan cross to protect your chickens, horse, goats, and other livestock.
A bride will sew a tiny rowan cross into the hem of her wedding dress to bring both fortune and good luck to her marriage.
If you plan to travel, carry a small rowan cross with you for luck and protection.
On the top of every Rowan Cross that I craft, I always include a circle of dried rowan berries that we have hand picked every autumn. These dried berries are strung on a fine thread of copper, which is a well know conductor of positive energy. On the bottom of each rowan berry, you will find a five pointed star, a symbol of great protection and known to repel all negative energies.
If you are interested in one of these beautiful charms from the old country, please contact me. I can make them in any size you wish. My small rowan charms start at $5.00 each.
If you are delighted with the sacred Rowan tree as much as I am, please visit my sister website where you will find more about this fasinating tree.
